I’m a simple girl I like coffee golf and wine shirt

These days, I note my kids are exposed on and I’m a simple girl I like coffee golf and wine shirt, dance, piano, skating, swimming, art, Chinese school, Spanish school, … it’s nuts.  My wife, on the other hand, shoots back: “we need to expose them to staff to develop their talents”.   Everyone is different and until you expose them to stuff they won’t know what clicks. And as much as I hate the ridiculous schedule for all involved, I agree with the sentiment in principle. I’d say one outcome is that kids are a bit more rounded, and interesting to talk to.  Because they have done stuff their parents have not.  Another advantage is that with all this stuff floating around, chances are that a kid will be good at something and get self-esteem out of this.  In Argentina growing up, any kid (eg me) who stunk at soccer felt on occasion the world crashing about.  Another outcome is that if the kid underwhelms at academics but nails one of his extracurricular activities, then the parents can work on his ego while he catches up.  Without his extracurricular activities, he would have become another slow and marginalized, low self-esteem kid.📷
