I run better than the government shirt

That does not mean it's wise to run 26.2 miles on a blisteringly hot day. However, marathons are scheduled long in advance, so you have to be prepared for all weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, wind. Either you train in all conditions, or you might as well throw in the towel before you start. Sooner or later you will find conditions that are far from perfect, so you have to prepare for it.
